the vintage hunting nursery

Thursday, May 16, 2013

Brady's nursery was so much fun to do.  I got a little inspiration from Pinterest for the vintage hunting theme, which fits us perfectly.  Both my husband & I love to hunt, love the outdoors & we hope to instill that into both of our kids. Everything in the nursery, with the exception of a few things like the crib (Amazon), rocking chair (PB Kids), barn wood, & mounts came from First Monday Canton Trade Days & garage sales.  The barn wood used on the focal wall came from an old school house on my family's ranch.  The mounts came from deer that the hubs, Pop's & Uncle G have killed.  My mom & I had a blast collecting things for this room, and I love the way it all came together. His room has become my favorite room in our house.  Enjoy.....

  13. Hello Ashley,
Your wall art behind the crib is so clever. I am trying to replicate something similar to give as a gift for a co-worker but on a smaller scale. Just curious what the vintage piece above Brady's name is and the piece to the right? Is that a tin poster? I'd greatly appreciate some insight. Please email me at nrpbake@yahoo.com.
    Thanks,
    Natalie
