A Must Read

I just finished Abby Rike's book, "Working It Out".  It's AMAZING!  She is speaking at our church at the end of the month, so I decided to read it.  I was shocked to find out that Abby is from Mabank, TX, a small town just outside of my hometown of Crandall.  But what an inspiring story of tragedy, triumph, God's amazing grace, and the power of prayer.  I can't wait to see Abby at Houston's First Baptist at the end of the month.  If you are in the Houston area, find out more about it here.  Either way, I highly recommend everyone grabbing a copy or downloading it on your e-readers & enjoy.  Please have a box of Kleenex handy, trust me, you'll need it.  

Worst Blogger of the Year goes to....

ME!!! Seriously, my last post was in November & it's now February!  Where has time gone?  And what have I been doing?!?!  Well, you see there is this little girl named Emma & she is pretty special.  My life is pretty consumed with her.  So you can check out what we have been up to here at I LOVE EMMA.  She just turned one last month, so we were super busy with the holidays & then her birthday.  Hopefully now, that our life is somewhat getting back to normal my blogging will become a little better, but I can't promise you anything!
